If you are just acting like you are in business, are you actually “in business”?

Maybe.

But play acting isn’t really acting with integrity and when someone says “fake it until you make it” I take offense.

I don’t know about you but that idea annoys me. In fact, this whole idea around the “impostor syndrome” and the fraud mentality, I think was really born out of that lack of integrity.

Because when you are trying to fake it until you make it, you’re fixed on some arbitrary goal that tends to justify any means of getting there. Integrity tends to be the first place that gets dumped from our BE when we try to DO anything to get there.

Just like the audience who boos the actor who is “faking it”, sooner or later the boos will come in your business too.

Let’s look at someone trying to sell you something you really don’t need. They are usually at this point because of trying to pay for their own stuff they bought thinking in having it, they will somehow feel better or look better or get to their goal faster. It is all part of the perpetuation of this cycle. You buy because you think in the having, it will be the “answer”.  Those answers however, tend to become your next problem.

I believe you need to BE in full integrity and care about the person in front of you or you’re not going have a happy customer/client. It may take them awhile to figure out they’ve been duped or the product is garbage or they can get the same thing only better for less and without the drama elsewhere.

When it does happen, and it will, because anything “good” someone gets that didn’t emanate from a place of integrity will not last. That’s in life. That’s in business.

I believe how you do anything is how you do everything. And that’s in life and business.

The condition of your life, your business, your numbers,  they tell me a story of who you are being, what you’ve been doing. When clients come to me it’s because they are ready to start telling a better story.

Shakespeare asked it best. TO BE? OR NOT TO BE?

I believe you have to start with integrity – with yourself and your business. You have to look yourself in the mirror every day and if you don’t like what you see, including your bottom line, hiring me or any a coach or joining some program for 5, 6 or even 7 figures – it just won’t change what you see in the mirror.

If where you are didn’t emanate from you Being in integrity –  release it. Start Being from your truth – BE honest with yourself. BE honest with me.

How I work is from a place of integrity. Integrity attracts integrity.

Opposites don’t attract. That’s a big misconception. If you’ve got slime balls in your life, whether a coach, client or partner – check no further than your mirror, because it’s what has been going on in you.

If you don’t like it, there is something not congruent with your integrity in thoughts, feelings and will.

Start BEING really clear about who you are and what your business is, because like attracts like.

Become the business owner you are capable of being. Do so from that place of full integrity.

If you are in it for real. If you want real tangible results, you want real clients, a real business and you want to stop play acting,  let’s talk
